Fall Fun!

Ha, ha, ha...they're going to kill me for posting this pic! ;-D

Well, this weekend was fun! Friday night Dr. B. and Oscar came over for dinner and a movie. I fixed mom's Savoury Meatballs served over Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Green Beans (steamed), Cheddar Chive Muffins, and Apple and Pumpkin Pie...Mmmm Mmmm Good! Saturday night Josh, Dr. B, and I met up with Juan Sr., Juan Jr. and Nana Portugal at Wellington Farm Park for the Haunted Walk.

Oscar and his son, James, were a couple of the spooks hiding out in the woods.

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!! Doc's got 2 left hands! Okay, actually I just now noticed that...lol ;-D

Nana Portugal was a riot out there...she became buds with the guide as he was holding the flashlight! ;-)

We ended up going down to the Beaver Creek Haunted Walk after we finished the one at Wellington. The Beaver Creek walk was awesome! I didn't get pictures, but they really went all out. All the proceeds from the Beaver Creek walk went to charity to buy food and toys for needy families. Part of the proceeds from the Wellington walk went to the GHS choir.

It was funny, at the Beaver Creek walk there was a women laying along side the path with a leg that had been "cut off" and she was yelling "help me...will you help me...?" We replied, "that depends, do you have Blue Cross Blue Shield?" ROTHFLMBO!!!! :-D

After the walks we were in the mood for more spooks, so we went to the video store and picked up a spooky flick...actually it really wasn't that spooky, but it was loooooong! We did not look at the length of it when we picked it up, it was over 2 hours long and it was after 1 a.m. before it ended.







Saturday I also did a bit of shopping...was having withdrawls!! Of course, while in the dressing room at Kohls, a lady goes into the stall next to me hacking a lung out...seriously, she sounded not long for this world and I'm thinking, "GREAT! Just Great! What deadly disease am I going to come down with now??"
