Last night I attended the Madrigal Dinner at the GHS. It was a hoot! The dinner was over the course of around 3 hours and included singing, skits, and other entertainment from the audience. The dinner was prime rib, salad, potatoes, veges, popovers, dinner rolls, and cheesecake. However, if your table wanted salt and pepper, you would have to send someone up to request some from the king. Before the king would grant you your request, you had to sing a song, do a dance, or do whatever the king demanded of you.
Also, if you were caught not following the rules of proper conduct, you would be punished by the king by having to perform before the audience in whatever manner the king demanded.
The above is a picture of Dr. Moriarity as he and two other men were summoned by the king because the were sitting with their elbows on the table. Their punishment was that they had to ride their stick horses all around the room while chanting something (I forget).
The Royal Parade
Oscar got caught for the crime of having his cell out. His punishment was to disco dance infront of everyone.
Yes, I also had to perform infront of the audience for a crime I did not commit! Oscar had placed his cell infront of me and claimed it was mine. My punishment was to speak in pig latin ;-))
Hmmmm...wonder if Jeff's bore head is missing from his wall...
After the Madrigal Dinner ended we went over to Dr. B's to watch a movie...well, the guys watched the movie, I watched the back of my eyelids :o)
