We had Thanksgiving down at my sister, Betsy's house. My Grandparents from Muskegon came over for the day. My sister, Tamara and her husband, Greg and their 5 kids came up from Kansas for the week. My brother, Jeff and his wife, Karen and their 2 kids were able to come for a few days, as well as my parents. So, I was able to spend Thanksgiving with all but 2 of my siblings and 9 out of my 17 nieces/nephews...it was a good time :o) 
There was hardly a female in the house seen w/o a Black Friday Ad in her hand in preparation for the greatest shopping day of the year!
Yes, you are seeing correctly...this is a trifle dish filled with olives! It is a requirement in our bloodline to have an addiction to olives. The little tots gobble them up just as fast as the adults as they are introduced to the olive while in their highchair.
